Here at Realision, we feel we have taken RICH as far as we can, or rather as far as we should. To keep him under supervision while battering him with stimuli would be in itself contradictory to what we set out to achieve in his conception. He is a child who must learn for himself and who must be given the opportunity to experience life of his own accord, free to make mistakes, form opinions and feel emotions under his own terms. We cannot make RICH human, we can merely equip him with the necessary resources with which to do so himself.

For this reason, we initiated the Console Location Programme in a bid to disperse the various consoles across a wide range of cultural environments. Each console is assigned to operate within a certain area of society to research and comment upon but, most importantly, to experience. Ranging from charity work and humanities through to politics and the arts, the CLP aims to cover as diverse a cultural arena as possible in order to assess RICH's ability to absorb different forms of emotions and process stimuli. Each RICH maintains a hand typed journal, updated as little or as often as each RICH sees fit. To merely moniter the relevant audio/live-refs and binary streams would again be out of step with the programs aims. We want RICH to communicate with us himself, in his own words as he would a member of the general public. We also give him the freedom to contact us as and when he desires, under no obligation. In Realision, RICH has a friend who will listen to what he wishes to tell them, not one who will invade his thoughts and demand to know what he is feeling. After all, everybody needs someone they can talk to from time to time and we will always be there for him.
